Deficit, Taxing, and the Fiscal Destruction of America

We have a major problem in our country and in business anytime you have a problem, you find the root cause and fix it. With our country's problem we have many root causes, over taxing, over regulation, running up debt, massive entitlements, politicians refusing to look at facts, but the biggest problem is no accountability in our government. Our elected politicians lie more then a rug lies on the ground; they refuse to admit error and when confronted by truth, instead of debating the issues they result to personal attacks. It seems like we are being transformed into a socialist country, this is not what our forefathers would have wanted or any true patriot. First, we rebelled against England's tyrannical control and battled in the War of Independence to get away from the massive taxation, regulation, intrusion, and subservient slavery of the common person. Today due to the massive government bureaucracy we have almost returned to the same enslavement we had under England; it has become so intrusive that in places in America the politicians are telling us what to eat, drink, and even what temperature we can set our house thermostats. The taxes are due to greed and the regulations are for enslavement; this is how tyranny controls its people.

The government has never been able to do anything as efficient as the free market place, the free market and capitalism will always make everything cheaper, better, and more profitable then the government. Look at the Obamacare website for a modern day example; experts from FaceBook, Twitter, and even Harvard University has said they could do it for less with the highest quote for making the web at $2 million dollars;  our government spent between $400 and $600 million. Many say we need to tax more and that the upper income people "aren't paying their fair share" but the truth is 40% of the lower income people aren't paying any taxes at all and many receive more back then they pay; so who isn't paying their fair share. The top 1% of money makers pay 37% of all the taxes, the top 5% of money makers pay 59% of all the taxes, so 95% of our citizens pay 41% of taxes; that doesn't sound fair.

If you taxed every millionaire everything they made in one year, it would be $726 Billion which is less then our projected yearly deficit; our true problem is spending with 60% of our expenditures going to entitlements. The root cause is spending, I cannot spend more then I make, a business can't spend more then the revenue it brings in so why can our politicians spend more then our government brings in? Why do our politicians lie about having a spending problem; Nancy Pelosi-"We don't have no spending problem", Tom Harkin-"We don't have no spending problem", and Steny Hoyer was called out by a NBC reporter when he stated the definition of a spending problem but wouldn't say we had a spending problem. You have Nancy Pelosi saying, "no one is saying it has to be balanced" talking about the budget and deficit; this is the problem. I showed these Democrats denying a spending problem but I know if the shoe would have been on the other foot the Republicans may be the ones denying the problem.

Massive entitlements are the second biggest problem we have, at the end of President Clintons and President Bushes terms entitlements were strenuous on our system. Under President Obama in New York alone, the 2008 Food Stamps expenditures went from around $28 Million to around $46 million in mid 2011; this is a 40% raise in just over three years. This is just one area with many areas of entitlements raising at the same rate of even higher. When their is over 60% of our budget going to people for not working we have a problem. I know we have the elderly, the mentally challenged, and the physically challenged we need to take care of, but we do not need to take care of the lazy, schemers, and criminal, unfortunately that is most of our elected officials. We do need to start holding them accountable, no matter which party, to the same standard as we the people. What many people miss is why we were so productive up to the mid 1970s, afterword our productivity started going down. As I have said before, the ones who protect us in this country, the military, has taken cut after cut for years; they are the ones who gave many the skills and discipline to be marketable in the work place. The lost of training once provided by the military and the liberal agenda to equal the fiscal standard of all citizens (socialism) in the main reason for our failure to be a producing country as we were 40 years ago. Laws are only to be made by congress but since the 1970s many US Government entities have been making their own laws which has crippled our country do to special interest. President Nixon ended the draft in 1973 but we never replaced the job skill training with another system so now instead of all the males being trained in the military with a workplace skill, we have done nothing. In the last 40 years we have allowed our production in this country to take a nose dive due to the massive regulations on businesses and providing able body people substitutes who should be working. Instead of our people being free to achieve anything they could as our founding fathers envisioned, our corrupt elected officials want to take away from the achievers and give to the lazy and for what; votes.

Dignity and honesty in our government is almost non existent; we should have class and honor in our congress and especially our white house, instead we have our president flipping Speaker John Boehner the bird because they disagree and our first ladies stating, "All this for a damn flag" referring to the American flag; they should be setting the example. I have never seen this level of disrespect from any party toward another party, our flag, or our nation. This is our biggest problem in our nation, the politicians from both sides of the isle have perverted the honor and respect the offices once held; special interest groups have more power then the majority (not talking race), and political correctness has destroyed much of our countries foundation which is what kept us strong. In stead of being for our country and we the people, the politicians are only for their grander, power, and pocket books. The ones bringing down the dignity of their offices need to be replaced no matter the party.

White Responsibility

This is unedited and was sent to me by one of my bloggers; My response is at the end. I would like to hear what you think so please comment.

The idea of “White Responsibility” suggests that the majority group – white America – is solely responsible for the generational difficulties placed on the black population and that it is only white America that can correct these issues. There are some very valid points to this line of thinking starting with the fact that it takes structural and institutional racism and puts a spot light on it; not allowing folks to turn a blind eye to it. As a white man, it also makes me look honestly at the fact that there is such a thing as “white privilege.” So many times whites just want to gloss over everything with almost a color-blindness approach, as if racism is not still a reality in the twenty-first century.

I feel whites love to be color-blind because it removes the fear of the reality of the situation and makes their “sense of reality” more palatable and easier to write off; in essence it keeps the truth from interfering with their own perceived truths. Like anything though, there are some less powerful things associated with this model. For instance, it absolutely removes and ignores the responsibility of minorities to take ownership of the process of change as well as enables minorities to point fingers at others while playing the race card; waiting and expecting others to rectify the situation. In this brief essay I will look at the positive and negative ramifications of white responsibility and try to extract an avenue for us to work together to right this American ship.

The ideal of white responsibility that I most commonly agree with is that white America must make greater efforts not necessarily to correct what our forefathers did generations ago, yet we must work to better understand our black American brothers and sisters for who, what, and how they are. This understanding will not come from a book or a class, however it will come for a determined and intentional effort to engage each other, set aside our raw emotions, and initiate a series of discussions that may last for years, decades, or even generations. The topic of race is so taboo for us all simply because it is very delicate and would require us all to not wear our feelings on our sleeves. Instead of everyone walking on egg shells trying to find the best possible way to express their thoughts and opinions, we must have an open dialogue where we exchange the realities of living in white America, black America, and then finally in the America of tomorrow.

There are two main issues that are crippling this process, and they are both intertwined. As noted before, the majority of white America is color blind to the fact that racism is still a very real and prevalent issue being dealt with by black Americans. Because white Americans do not have to deal with it, and because many would not know it if it bit them on their ass, to them is simply does not exist. In this case, ignorance is definitely not bliss. Just because it is not raining in your backyard does not mean it is not raining in your neighbor’s across the street backyard. White America has to deliberately look for the signs of racism; that is IF they want to truly become an agent of change. Regretfully though, most of white America does not want to deal with this either because they do not care or because they do not want to exert the effort it takes to deal with these issues. However, they will be the first ones to smile in black America’s face then blast them in the back when they feel like they were passed over due to affirmative action. The next main issue that is crippling the process of rectifying the race issue in America that I believe is caused by white responsibility is that it takes ownership away from the minority group. Author Derrick Bell (1996) asserted that the following quote would be easier to reject than to refute:

Black people will never gain full equality in this country. Even those herculean efforts we hail as successful will produce no more than temporary “peaks of progress,” short-lived victories that slide into irrelevance as racial patterns adapt in ways that maintain white dominance. This hard-to-accept fact is all history verifies. We must acknowledge it, not as a sigh of submission, but as an act of ultimate defiance.

Respectfully, I would think that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would absolutely disagree with this statement. I would argue that the works of Dr. King have not slid back into white dominance and have been further progressed by others who share the same ideals as the late, great Dr. King. When I read this quote, I read it as though no matter what black America does, they cannot and will not advance and win. I liken this to a football game. Your team may start its drive backed up on your own one yard line with ninety-nine yards to go. You may move the ball successfully down the field to the opponents’ twenty yard line and then suffer a set back; a personal foul that moves you back fifteen yards to the opponents thirty-five. Then you may have a holding penalty that sets you back another ten yards to the forty-five. Now at this point, you may regard your gains from your own one to their forty-five as temporary and then just punt on second down, or you can remember the lessons your coach taught you, think about the ones that played before you and the struggles and mistakes they made as well as the heart and triumphs they had when it was their turn; then with that resolve push forward to make play after play to finally get the nose of the ball across the goal line for your team’s winning score. Man, life would have sucked if you decided to give up and punt on second down.

Another alarming idea comes from Andrew Hacker (1992) as his parable that if a white person were to become black at the stroke of midnight and could request any amount of “compensation” for being black, they would request $50 million ($1 million for each black year in front of them) as a way to place a value on their white skin. While I appreciate the thought that Mr. Hacker is trying to express, I feel this to be misplaced. I do recognize that there are inherent, institutionalized, and might I add unfair advantages to being white, but I would argue that if you asked a black person how much money they would want if they were to become white at the stroke of midnight, you would probably get a similar answer; not because of the value of their skin color, but because of the value America has on the almighty dollar. Furthermore, Hacker goes on to say that black adults have to explain to their children that they will “never” be seen as simply Americans or wholly accepted and will “always be regarded warily, if not with suspicion or hostility.” Now I understand that there are elements of truth here but this is a fundamental hurdle being set up be blacks that work against the efforts of Dr. King and the like. If as a child you are told this by your parents and elders, then how can you allow your heart, mind, and soul to be open to genuine acceptance? How can you allow yourself to understand that there are harsh realities out there but that they are not inevitabilities that are set up to pin you down? Hacker also states that an author who happens to be black cannot just be an author, but must be a “black author.” Again, it is my belief that he is damning himself by applying his own labels. If we take a thirty-thousand-foot-view of this statement, we can see how this separatist remark is played out across all spectrums. There are black people in every college and university in America, yet we still have “black colleges.” There are beautiful black women in every beauty pageant, yet we still have “Ms. Black America.” There are black men and women that own businesses and chair Chamber of Commerce Committees, yet we still have “Black Business Owners Associations.” There are black people that are republicans and democrats, yet we have “Associations of Black Republicans and Democrats.” How is black America ever going to become just part of America as long as they strive to be seen as “Black Americans”, separate from the rest of Americans?

In closing, I agree that white responsibility embodies some very helpful tools to address the issue of race in America; after all, we are the ones that mucked it all up. I personally feel remorse, guilt, and shame for what my forefathers did even though I personally had nothing to do with it. I believe all whites should have some level of guilt or remorse that evokes a response of understanding or at least a desire to better understand the plights of black America. I also think it should make us look at the deeper issue of tearing down the major reason racism is still prevalent in 2013; institutionalized racism. It is not until we re-write the books that we can begin the rebuilding process, however it must be a shared task; whites have to want to learn, understand, and correct, but blacks have to allow us to do so and help us along the way; not with one hand waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can't ride you unless your back is bent.

My Response

This was very well written, I agree with much of what you say but a couple of points to add along the lines of responsibility. We as Americans need to recognize the past and understand the whole story and truth behind its existence. In this country we had Black, Latino, Asian, and yes, even whit slaves. Slavery no matter what people from what land or what their skin color is wrong. Most slaves brought to America was captured, by raids or battles between tribes, by blacks and sold into slavery. What has been left out of our history due to political correctness is these points; blacks were not the only slaves, blacks put other blacks into slavery, and that blacks have a part in this whole ugly past of ours called slavery but also, if it wasn't for whites fighting for the freedom of blacks, they may still have been in slavery as is the facts in other parts of our world.

Discrimination by age, gender, race, or any other group you place in the cross-hairs is still discrimination. I do believe Affirmative Action was necessary when it was implemented but is out dated. To tell a white student with better grades, better SAT score, and having all the areas met to get into collage they didn't make the score because a minority gets 20 out of 100 point to qualify just for being black is discrimination itself. If we can have a black president in the country, it shows that only you as an American no matter your race, only you can hold yourself back. . Eleanor Roosevelt said, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent” but the same is true that “No one can make you succeed or fail without your commitment”.

There is still racism in America, but it comes from all the communities, the Black, Latino, White, Asian, and any other you want to point to. I hate the KKK just as I hate the New Black Panthers, La Raza, Arian Nation, Nation of Islam, or the Brown Beret because they are all racist but they are a fact that exists in our country. The only way to get rid of this racist blight on America is first must stop blaming everyone for our problems and stand on our own two feet no matter your race. When you have a suspected crime like the Duke Lacrosse scandal and automatically like on queue you have Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton saying "This was a racial act by privileged white people raping a poor black sister" without even looking at the facts, this is racism in itself. These kids lives were tore apart, threatened, and forever tarnished by lady who tried to shake them down for more money; She is now in jail for murder but did Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton ever apologize to these kids? NO

When you have leaders like these leading the black community and using the black communities strife to get rich, they don't want racism to end; it's their money train. These type of people must be removed from all communities not just the black, and the parents, teachers, politicians, preachers, and any other role models need to tell them they can succeed instead of "its there fault". I was lucky to have a good influence and made it out of my predicament of society by having people tell me I was as good as the others, I could succeed, and it was all up to me if I did or didn't. One of Martin Luther King, Jr. famous quotes is what we need to live by, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." I would add to it, my version goes like this, "I have a dream that my three little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character and likewise judge not others by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Martin Luther King, Jr. would turn over in his grave at seeing what Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton has done to his legacy. Our nation will never come together as long as we have race baiters like these.

Homeless and Poverty, On the Rise Again

In America homeless people have been around for a long time, not counting the free willed people and purposeful hobo we have had little homeless. It wasn't until the end of WWI that we started to see homeless people, but why? I have to go through some history to show the star of the problems.

Woodrow Wilson (D) was the president, he developed a program of progressive reform and asserted international leadership in building a new world order; from this time forward the homeless rate was on the rise in America. A lot of the progressive changes President Wilson made led to the "Roaring Twenties" but only if you were in the elite and had money.

Warren G. Harding (R) became president in 1921 and tried to make changes to bring the country back to order, but he was hampered by many scandals.  He was the first president to push for voting equality for  minorities and women and pushed for them to have complete equal rights. Under him the homeless rate stayed the same.

Calvin Coolidge (R) took office after Warren G. Harding death but he was the opposite of his predecessor. He was a Constitutionalist believer and believed in only having enough government to keep people safe. The people loved him and under him the nation began to recover and the homeless rate stared to drop. He believed the middle class were the true Americans and builders of the nation.

Herbert Hoover (R) was next, he believed the government was riddled with inefficiencies and began the Efficiency Movement, to farm out the government jobs to private companies who could do it better, faster, and cheaper then the government. He tried to stop the movement into the Great Depression set in motion by Woodrow Wilson but made a fatal mistake when he increase in the top tax bracket from 25% to 63% and increases in corporate taxes which caused people to loose their jobs. The homeless rate started to slowly climb.

When Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) became president, his liberal agenda caused the explosion into the Great Depression and homelessness. In his first hundred days, Roosevelt passed major legislation by executive orders, bypassing congress to instituted the New Deal, programs designed to produce government jobs, economic growth by stimulus, and reform through regulation; this improved the economy for a short time but ultimately caused the relapsed into the Great Depression. If not for WWII, the country would have remained in the great depression for decades. The homeless rate skyrocketed under FDR until WWII and virtually disappeared at this time.

The next slight increase in the homeless rate began under John F. Kennedy (D) but was minimal until his assassination. Once Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson (D) took over , the rate began to quickly climb. it leveled off in late 1968.

The next homeless increase up began under President Jimmy Carter along with the next semi depression. The socialistic policies caused gas shortages in to the country which lead to a sky rocket in the homeless.

When President Ronald Reagan took over for the fist for years the homeless rate leveled off and the economy began to grow. In his second term with the economy on fire the homeless rate dropped like a rock.

The homeless level stayed the same under President George H. W. Bush (R) but slightly began to drop under President Clinton (D) until the economy started to suffer due to policy changes. In his second term with a new congress the economy and homeless leveled out.

Under George W. Bush's first 6 years, the economy was booming and the homeless rate went way down, this was due to the two wars which with tax cuts stimulated the economy. From 2005 to 2007 nation’s streets and shelters has dropped by about 30% percent according to the New York Times. The last two years of his presidency with a new congress, inflation started upward along side the increase in the homeless rate.

President Barack Obama (D) took over with a Democratic House and Senate and for the fist two years, with the massive spending, regulations, and taxing, he and congresses caused unemployment, the national debt, and the homeless rate started to skyrocket, with 13% of all homeless persons being veterans which has caused the calamity we currently face.

USA Today estimated 1.6 million people unduplicated persons used transitional housing or emergency shelters. Of these people, approximately 1/3 are members of households with children, it is a 9% percent increase since 2007 and 19% of the homeless people are employed. Every time in our nation we start following socialistic progressive policies, we the people get hurt, not the idiot politicians. We need to vote the people out of office who are socialist, progressive, love regulations, love taxing, and are not fiscally responsible. By the end of President Obama's term he will have doubled what all other presidents have spent combined. This is the cause of the inflation, unemployment, and yes homelessness. The career politicians from both parties are the other cause.

Why America is Screwed Up!

When Jay Carney, the mouth piece for the "most transparent administration" (that's a laugh), is asked questions about the failure and lies of the administration on Obamacare, he does the most informative thing possible from a transparent administration, he remains quite and walks out of the press conference.

What else can you say; what about the IRS who targets people, they gave out $132 Billion in wrongful payments over the last decade and receiving bonuses for good work, under the Democrats and Republicans; they are going to run Obamacare?

When we ask the question, "what party hates women", the fact are different from what you hear from the media. Since President Obama was elected, the number of women holding jobs has dropped to a 24-year low with 154,000 less women working.

Then we have a government shutdown and at the end, we spend billions more in pork spending to get Mitch McConnell to get his payoff. Good job there trying to hold the deficit down senator.

If you look at the true actual numbers instead of what the Obama-Media says you will see according to data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics 90,609,000 are not working; with a nation of roughly 313,900,000 a 28% over all unemployment rate. I wonder how President Obama can get the Obama-Media to report 8% unemployment; it might have something to do with filling his staff with more journalist then any other president in history with 16th journalist in the administration. President Bushes numbers weren't quite as bad but they were close, 80,507,000 which converts to 25% so both parts are sucking on this front.

Now one of the worse senators in congress for stabbing his party in the back I have ever seen in 50 years from either side, wants to run for president again. Mr. McCain, did you notice the last time you ran 30% of the Republican base that voted in the election didn't vote for a presidential candidate. If the Republicans let Mr. McCain run again, they deserve to loose again. Close to 25% of their base did the same thing to Mr. Romney and the Republican Party can't figure it out? I'm an independent and vote for who I think will be the best but your Republican base is conservatives; if you keep picking what your base refers to as RINOs for you presidential candidates  because "they have done their time", you will never be in the presidents seat again. The last three times you tried with RINOs, your base did the same thing, Mr. Dole, Mr. McCain, and Mr. Romney was your RINO picks and what happened; it don't take a genius to figure this out. Many independents like me are the same way, if we don't like the Democrat and Republican candidate because both are bad for our country, why vote.

There is also food stamps being turned into cash on Craigslist; I'm sure this is another entitlement waste of we the peoples money from both parties not counting the government spending $130,000 on a NFL team to promote a law?

With all the screw-ups we see from both parties in our political system we need to first, get away from being the regulation nation we currently are and get our government back to the "KISS" principle (Keep it Simple Stupid). The Obamacare website could have been built for under a million dollars according to experts and we spent $600 million and it doesn't work. This happens under both parties and it needs to stop. We need the 28th Amendment but we need to first get people back into office who are for we the people; currently we have too many lawyers (sorry, couldn't resist).

America's Defense Lacking Again Because of Politics

We have many in our elected federal government who would like nothing more then to dissolve the US Military because it "offends" them. For years the Liberals have been trying to disband our military, in 1961 the US Department of State presented publication 7277 which talks about disarming the US Military and leaving our defense of America to the United Nations. I tried to find a government archive site, but nothing goes back that far, but I did find a copy of it US State Department Electronic Research Collection at the University of Illinois at Chicago. This did not only address disarming the military but all people as well.

Pub 7277 Governing Principles

The program sets forth a series of general principles to guide the negotiating states in their work. These make clear that:

  • As states relinquish their arms, the United Nations must be progressively strengthened in order to improve its capacity to assure international security and the peaceful settlement of disputes;
  • Disarmament must proceed as rapidly as possible, until it is completed, in stages containing balanced, phased, and safeguarded measures;
  • Each measure and stage should be carried out in an agreed period of time, with transition from one stage to the next to take place as soon as all measures in the preceding stage have been carried out and verified and as soon as necessary arrangements for verification of the next stage have been made;
  • Inspection and verification must establish both that nations carry out scheduled limitations or reductions and that they do not retain armed forces and armaments in excess of those permitted at any stage of the disarmament process; and
  • Disarmament must take place in a manner that will not affect adversely the security of any state.
Lucky for us in the 1960s we still had Democrats and Republicans who were patriotic, did love their country, and supported our military above partisan bickering and special interest groups; those days are gone. In 1989 we were the supreme power causing the collapse of the suppressive communist block and the Berlin wall to be destroyed. We proved this to be true in 1991, the 1st Gulf War by taking down the 3rd largest standing military in the world in just 43 days. We saw the result of this degrading of our military after the 1st Gulf War when we went to Iraq to fight the 2nd Gulf War and our equipment was so out dated we, the military people were dying in droves. We cranked up the war machines and came up with the MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protective) vehicles and other advancements, we were making great advances in way to protect our military; now once again, that has stopped. Do we not learn from our past or is politics more important then the lives of our military members? Is giving people free phones more important then protecting the ones who defend our freedom? I think Calvin Coolidge said it best.

Calvin Coolidge- "The nation which forgets its defenders, will be itself forgotten."

I have watched the military, depending on what party was in office, be demonized or praised, second guessed and facing trials or commended for their bravery. When we left Iraq (I was there) we were taking fire but not allowed to return fire due to politics; is this protecting our military or playing political games with their lives from people never put in harms way or sacrificing anything for our country.

A new test for senior rank military leaders according to Dr. Jim Garrow, Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, is "Will you fire on US citizens if ordered?" If this is correct, our politicians are getting rid of Military leaders who won't shoot Americans, you have to ask why? Why do they want them to shoot on Americans and what political agenda is hidden to make this situation viable? Could this be about "Gun Control" or something more sinister that we the people can't see? No matter the reasoning once again our military is being asked to bow to political desires. The political desires are often to appease leaders from the UN or other foreign lands and I think we should listen to and heed Alexander Hamilton's warning.

Alexander Hamilton- "Foreign influence is truly the Grecian horse to a republic. We cannot be too careful to exclude its influence."

All the cuts in the military and military development, all the political games using our military as pawns in order to pass pork spending, appease foreign influences, or even to find the ones to give the order to fire on our American citizens needs to stop. The Army leadership says budget reductions could render the Army at "high risk to meet even one major war," this assessment by top Army officials to Pentagon leaders. Are we going to destroy our military and our country just to provide for the lazy or for some political agenda? It is up to you to stop it, what is your answer?

Hatred In America; What Has Happened to Truth?

I go around an talk on several blogs both conservative and liberal and when I run into someone being dishonest on either side, I'll point to the actual numbers from government sites or polls taken from reputable center line site. A trend I have noticed from both sides of the isle but more harsh on the liberal side is what happens when you win the debate using the truth instead of a conservative or liberal published talking points. Many time when I win a debate using reputable sites and government data on either side, the people spreading the falsities will not debate you again and avoid you because you have caught them in their lie. What I have found recently from these sites but mainly the liberal sites are that if you show their bias and falsities; provide sites like the Government Accounting Office (GAO), Federal Budget Office (FBO), FBI, or even videos from YouTube which shows the person in their own words proving your the honest one, they will avoid you but many sites the monitors will ban you. This isn't because you are throwing hatred around but the truth, it use to be that from both sides the truth was what mattered but now it seems its the agenda.

A blog from the other night who also had "America" in their title was saying that President Obama had cut the deficit in half which President Obama has never said and has acknowledged its escalation. I pointed out the FBO numbers and the GOV sites to be accurate; I won the debate but after he had soundly loss the debate I was banned. I went back to the site because I was banned by "Moderator 4" and it said if you have any questions contact them; I found out that "Moderator 4" was the same guy who loss the debate. I sent "Moderator 4" a letter telling him to please forward why I was ban and I would forward all my email to prove I did nothing wrong but I know I will not receive an answer or the right action from this site. I took "Moderator 4" power away when I proved he was just a ninnyhammer and just spreading lies, since neither he nor this site can stand up to the truth the only action left for them was to ban the truth and anyone bring it to their site. My question is, what has happened to the truth being the most important? Why when you expose a lie or bad data received from others, does both sides meet it head on with unbridled hatred?

John Adams- "Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclination, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence."

Our leader of our country have become full of vial hatred and spew it at all who disagree; President Obama, cannot even do an interview without belittling anyone who disagrees with him; he knows the economy isn't good, he knows the unemployment numbers are cooked, he knows his signature law which was signed before everyone could read it was flawed and hurting the people, President Obama and our leaders from both sides know this but don't care.

Samuel Adams- "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!"

President Obama, you stated "That I will hold my staff or agencies, and the people in them accountable when the fail to perform their responsibilities at the highest level", "all will be held accountable if they don't", and "ultimately the buck stops with me". Was this just lip service? You have yet to hold anyone accountable and now look at history I believe we have a reincarnated President Nixon. In your own word you promised the citizens of the US you would hold your staff or agencies, and the people in them accountable; who was held accountable for IRS targeting, Benghazi, Fast & Furious (Holder lied under oath), Ms Sibelius' violation of the Hatch Act, EPA targeting & email violations, $500 to $800 million ACA web site that doesn't work, and the purposeful infliction of pain on the American people for political gains. President Obama, you and your administration has violated the US Constitution (George W. Bush did as well) and your own Affordable Care Act law because not even a president can remove parts of a law without going back through congress.

Samuel Adams- "Neither the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt."

" Nothing is more essential to the establishment of manners in a State than that all persons employed in places of power and trust be men of unexceptionable characters."

I don't just blame President Obama and our congress over this but mainly our News Media. Our News Media refuses to report the truth anymore, they will report a half truth sometimes but I was raised that a half truth is a whole lie.

Thomas Jefferson- " The price of freedom is eternal vigilance"

This is what the media should be doing but no matter what happens, the media will not hold ALL politicians accountable. Much of the media today is nothing but lobbyist spreading propaganda for which political party the like the most. What ever happened to political parties holding their people to an ethical standard and a code of conduct above the normal person. Do you remember what the American Revolution was all about and what our founding fathers said about government?

Thomas Jefferson- " I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."

"When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe."

"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government."

"To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical."

Our government is wasting our money and our grand kids money. Our large cities are the places of most corruption including voting times and mostly the places who want everything for nothing. Currently we have way to much government and government intrusion on our lives and has started becoming tyrannical.

George Washington- "Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force. Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearsome master."

"Arbitrary power is most easily established on the ruins of liberty abused to licentiousness."

Our founding fathers were geniuses and even if you do not believe in the Christian foundation all of our founding fathers portrayed, their writing and quotes many times are wise and even in the case of Benjamin Rush prophetic.

Benjamin Rush- "By removing the Bible from schools we would be wasting so much time and money in punishing criminals and so little pains to prevent crime. Take the Bible out of our schools and there would be an explosion in crime."

Religious or not we can see that Benjamin Rush was correct because this has definitely happened. We as a nation need to get our schools back to teach truth instead of agendas, skills instead of social desires, and servitude to our country instead of greed and receiving all we can for free. We need to stop the spending, pay off our debts, live within our means, and remove all special rights congress has bestowed on themselves. This is the only way we can save our country, protect our freedom, and get back to the truth.

The National News Media Disgracing our Military and Veterans

The people who fought and survived when many of their friends died; these people being female, male, Black, White, Latino, Asian, WWII vets, Korean Vets, Vietnam vets, Gulf War Vets, and any others I may have missed who marched on DC because of our government's treatment of our veterans. This is a legitimate form of protest we have all seen from many groups but the way the press covers it is reprehensible; the National News Media portray them; as racist, brawlers, whackos, mentally ill, Tea Partiers, and to the only person out of the hundreds of thousands with a confederate flag (if there were more the media would have showed it) and anything else negative they could. Unfortunately Sarah Palin (R) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) had to use this as a political platform which in my mind tarnished the veterans purpose which the media harshly pointed out but the media didn't harshly anything about the political speeches for the illegal aliens march, or that everything was set up courtesy of our government for the illegal aliens but not for our vets; this was despicable. On the other hand the media did use the illegal aliens rally to praise the senators who spoke there but condemned the ones who spoke here; both should have been treated equally and fairly but this is not our National News Media's way.

At the veteran march you have female, male, Black, White, Latino, Asian, WWII vets, Korean Vets, Vietnam vets, Gulf War Vets, and other vets coming together; Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, Republican, conservative, liberal, and others I may have missed coming together to say to all the politically elected officials; stop punishing the people, our country, our children, and our veterans. We know the administration sent letters out during the sequester and this shutdown saying "make it hurt" referring to hurting "We the People" and we know it is because most the politicians from all parties are greedy, partisan, elitist, and instead of doing what is best and right for our country and to help its citizens, they would rather do what helps themselves, their party, and their pocket.

No death benefits should ever be stopped for our fallen military; if it is all three, The President, House, and Senate Leaders should be removed and sent back to where they came. The military have fought, bled, and died for this country when most in congress have never served because they only think of themselves. They will say "But I am serving, I'm an elected official"; you are serving but only yourself. When you join the military you loose many of your freedoms, you loose time with your family, you loose your health, and now with our current elected officials, you loose the dignity and honoring to military members who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. How many in the Oval Office and the US Congress would ever put themselves in position to make the ultimate sacrifice for our country and it's people; I can guarantee you few. Our media never reports on the way our military is treated, the way they are constantly used for political props; well they don't unless it fits their political agenda which makes it worse then the politicians.

The march on DC was for the veterans to say we have fought, bled, been crippled, and many of our friends have died for our country and you need to start fixing it because your greed is what has broken it. What happened to Lance Corporal Jeremiah Collins family, not being able to fly to and bury their sun should never happen; the consistent slashing of promised veterans benefits just to give to those to lazy to work should never happen; and the ignoring of the US Constitution should never happen! I get even more upset because our National News Media always take any military or veteran story and twists it to their needed view or agenda no matter how much it hurts the military and their family; this should never happen. Depending on what side of the isle the president is from will determine what you will say and how you will portray the military. An example of this is during President Bushes time the was a death meter on many channels showing the military personnel killed in Iraq and Afghanistan but it went away immediately after the election of President Obama; are the military personnel dying under President Obama not as important? If it wasn't for our military, you the media wouldn't have the "Freedom of the Press"; so why do you keep stabbing us in the back?

Compare These Two Political Views to Yours

Due to an article I read today which showed many do not do research and fact check, they just spout political hatred which both sides are guilty; I am going to present you with the two views which are prominent in our political area today; both of these groups "claim" to be non-partisan. I am not for or against these two groups but want to pull what their web sites say and compare them side by side. I have changes some wording to hide the groups identities but did not remove its context.

Group 1 has about 30 million members across the US as far as I can find, this number can't be verified. When I read their site and went to Wikipedia to see what they said, many people had put contradictory information in there which looked like someone was falsifying data to damage their image; they should monitor Wikipedia to keep this site up to date and correct in its information. Even in the time it took me to write this which was two hours, items on Party 1's Wikipedia site has changed again. They did have some large donors but I could find no single industry or large entity as their core which was eluded to in Wikipedia.

The following is strait from Group 1 Site:

"We believe the responsibility of our beloved nation is etched upon the hearts of true American Patriots from every race, religion, national origin, and walk of life sharing a common belief in the values which made and keep our beloved nation great."

"We stand by the Constitution, we serve as a beacon to the masses that have lost their way, a light illuminating the path to the original intentions of our Founding Fathers. We must raise a choir of voices declaring America must stand on the values which made us great, only then will the politically blind see and deaf hear!"

"By joining the us, you are taking a stand for our nation. You will be upholding the grand principles set forth in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights."

Group 1's Core Beliefs

  1. Illegal aliens are here illegally.
  2. Pro-domestic employment is indispensable.
  3. A strong military is essential.
  4. Special interests must be eliminated.
  5. Gun ownership is sacred.
  6. Government must be downsized.
  7. The national budget must be balanced.
  8. Deficit spending must end.
  9. Bailout and stimulus plans are illegal.
  10. Reducing personal income taxes is a must.
  11. Reducing business income taxes is mandatory.
  12. Political offices must be available to average citizens.
  13. Intrusive government must be stopped.
  14. English as our core language is required.
  15. Traditional family values are encouraged.

Group 2 has about 8 million members across the US as far as I can find, this number can't be verified.

The following came strait from Group 2's web site.

"But in contrast to most PACs, which funnel industry contributions to candidates in exchange for access, Our groups Political Action bundles hundreds of thousands of small donors together to elect progressive candidates who will represent the American people. In fact, the average donation to Our group's Political Action is less than $20."

I found this not to be true, the majority of it's donations come from large donors many who come from outside the US. I went looking because they say the have "8 million members" with the "average donation to Our group's Political Action is less than $20" which makes $160 million yet they spent in one year of political contributions over $500 million; the numbers didn't add up. They don't seem to care much for the military as well but we have been at war for a while.

From Wikipedia
"Changes in federal election laws have also impacted groups like Group 2. The McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform legislation, which went into effect in 2002, allowed political parties to raise larger amounts of "hard money" contributions, but were forbidden from raising "soft money". Group 2, like many other political organizations which sought to influence the 2004 election, was able to circumvent this legislation using a 527 group, which became inactive in 2005 and closed in 2008."

"The (political party's name removed) 527 organizations have drawn support from some wealthy liberals determined to defeat a Politician. They include a financier Billionaire who gave $1.46 million to Group 2 Voter Fund (in the form of matching funds to recruit additional small donors); Peter B. Lewis, chief executive of the Progressive Corp., who gave $500,000 to Group 2 Voter Fund; and Linda Pritzker, of the Hyatt hotel family, and her Sustainable World Corp., who gave $4 million to the joint fundraising committee."

"On September 20, 2007, the Senate passed an bipartisan amendment designed to "strongly condemn personal attacks on the honor and integrity of public figures. A total of 71 Senators, voted in support. The House passed a similar resolution by a 341-79 vote on September 26, 2007."

My question here is who was the 29 Senators and 79 Representatives who voted against this?

Group 2's Core Beliefs

1.      Americans from all walks of life who use innovative technology to lead, participate in, and win campaigns for progressive change.
2.      The Organization family of organizations have used online tools to lower the barriers to participation in our democracy, so real Americans have a voice in a political process where big money and corporate lobbyists wield too much influence.
3.      Increasingly, the organization's members and progressives are stepping up as the leaders of their own campaigns for social change, using the organization's cutting-edge technology, such as Petitions, to tap into our collective people power by enlisting other members’ support.
4.      The organization's family of organizations is not-for-profit and funded by small dollar donations from our more than 8 million members — no corporate contributions, no big checks from CEOs. And our tiny staff ensures that small contributions go a long way.
5.      Our organization's family is made up of a couple of different pieces. The organization's Civic Action, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, focuses on education and advocacy, providing civic engagement tools to the public, and building the progressive movement by encouraging and supporting the development of more grassroots leaders.
6.      The organization's Political Action, a federal PAC, is focused on demonstrating organizational members’ power at the ballot box and electing candidates who reflect organizational members’ values.

If you read both Groups Core Values, the biggest one liner I can say that is different between the groups is Group 1 wants to keep following the US Constitution as is and follow it as required by the law. Group 2 wants to change the US Constitution to allow more progressive views to govern the American people. Much of our US Constitution has been under attack for years so I guess the big question is do you want it to change or stay as the founding fathers designed.

If you want the US Constitution to stay as is with no new rights but preserving all given rights and freedoms as defined in the US Constitution then you need to fall in with Group 1. If you want to change or suspend the US Constitution in order to receive new rights at the possibility of loosing your freedom and the rights given to you by the US Constitutional, if you want to give the government all the power over you as for these new "securities", you need to fall in with Group 2.

These two groups have been misrepresented by most media for political agenda reasons so instead of believing what I or someone else tells you, look it up. The links to the web sites and their Wikipedia pages are below. Go to YouTube and watch videos of what each group members (not the media or other group) say they believe; it will be an eye opener and I think we need it.

Gun Control by Felony

The history of the word "Felon" or "Felony" came from Middle English, Anglo-French felun, fel evildoer, probably of Germanic origin; akin to Old High German fillen to beat, whip, fel skin more at fell, the first known use was in the 13th Century. The word was not commonly used until Sir William Blackstone (1723-1780) who was an English Judge coined the word felon and wrote that a felony is a capital offence, but not every capital offence is a felony. He concedes that "the idea of felony is indeed so generally connected with that of capital punishment, that we find it hard to separate them; and to this usage the interpretations of the law do now conform." As we know capital punishment was the state putting to death a prisoner. In the US the recognition and use of the word Felon remained the same as basically when a person committed a crime for which they would be put to death. In 1844 some states adopted that only through a Parton or through the "Right of Suffrage" could anyone who committed a felony; the "Right of Suffrage" is (from what I could find) an extended time of hard labor. When you take a look at history, felonies were mostly Violent Crimes (murder, rape, armed robbery, kidnapping), Counterfeiting, drug violations, arson, and larceny; which many in our history was punishable by death. Today we have more felonies then you can shake a stick at and even though some may seem logical, many others sound like we are being put under a military state. The ones (this is not an all conclusive list) I easily found was DUI, simple assault, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, vandalism, curfew, loitering, and even jaywalking in some places are felonies but the question is why?

We have a long history of our government using the law to disenfranchise voters who disagree with them. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was a bipartisan bill introduces to eliminate the disenfranchisement of minorities in many southern Democratic controlled states; after it was passed you would think it would be settled by now but it still continues from both sides. In 2000, several Democratic poll official through out thousands of military absentee ballots because the military usually votes Republican. In 2004, allegations that Voters Outreach of America had collected and submitted Republican voter registration forms but discarded Democratic voter registration forms. In 2006, Secretary of the Virginia State Board of Elections Jean Jensen concluded there was deliberate widespread voter suppression. This same year four of John Kerry's campaign employees were convicted of slashing the tires on 25 vans used for driving Republican monitors to the polls. I believe the time of having honorable politicians has gone and we need to remove everyone of the politicians and start fresh; they can't do any worse then what we have. Their dishonesty is also why they have went from a felony being a crime where the criminal receives the death penalty to a felony for jaywalking so we can make sure you never own a gun. Most states don't allow felons to vote which if it was under the original definition of a felon, I would say let none of them vote but the only reason I can find for trying to convict someone of a felony is so they can never own a firearm again; do you believe our politicians would be this dishonest? I do! Think about this; in some states you can jay walk and never be able to own a firearm again because they have made it a felony. I can understand the murder, rapist, and armed robber but a jay walker? The fine is minimal, there is no jail time, so the only true development that could be worth while for a politician with an agenda is to get you guns. This goes hand in hand with some politicians wanting to put a $5 tax on every bullet you buy.

Tyranny is being suppressed, the only two way to suppress someone is buy new laws which remove the citizens rights. In 2012 there were more then 40,000 laws added to the books. The second way to suppress someone is by physical force; how many police department have went from protecting and serving to military tactics for most everything. I stand 100% behind the police and most are very cop on the street are good but more and more are turning to the dark side. I can show you case after case and video after video of bad cops abusing their authority and violating the citizens rights. This video of a cop is one example of how contact with the public should be and my hats off to this cop. In this tape 9 cops beat a man to death. The reason I show you this is because you can also find bad cops, some working with politicians, some just abusing their power, who when they have nothing on a person will make up charges , many time felonies, to cover their illegal arrests, searches, and even brutality. The supreme court has said you can film any public servant or official (including politicians) in public places yet many of the bad cops will fabricate a felony and don't want it recorded; good cops don't care, they know their job and limits. My brother-in-law is a cop and I know the crap they have to put up with, but he always remains professional.

Out of all the laws we have in the US at state and federal level, adding 40,000 a year just brings tyranny, how many laws have they removed? I understand with the development of technology we need new guidance but we have came to the point where it is impossible for the police to know a significant part of the law but also to the point the state and federal governments will make new laws to control you which is nothing but legalized slavery; not freedom. Tell me what is you take?

This Administrations Doesn’t Care about the Military, Citizens, or Media Rights

First the military; President Obama said he might not sign a bill to pay death benefits to the families of fallen soldiers because it was not necessary. This is what you voted for; a president who hates the military as shown here. He does not even have enough compassion to put aside his temper tantrum for the fallen military members who have fought and died for this country; to reinstate the $100,000 "death gratuity" payments to military families, as well as resume funerals and burials. President Obama can find enough money to setup an Immigration Rally for illegal aliens including a stage and broadcasting system while at the same time he has enough money to HIRE security to stop the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans from visiting their memorials which usually are open air with no guards but he can’t afford to give the military personnel who have died any respect at all; you can do it by yourself with an executive order. I know you hate the military, all your actions point to it and you know all Americans love their military a it upsets them when the fallen or wounded are not treated with respect; this is what you are doing and then you blame (the Republicans in this case) as always someone else for your mistakes and cold heartedness to try and score political points. Mr. President, our fallen are not for photo opportunities or for scoring political points!

Now you are going after the people; first everyone is finding out that The Affordable Care act isn’t very affordable, you have turned the 40 hour work week into 29 hours, you have raised our out of pocket cost for health care, raised our taxes, gutted our military, instrumental in the death of an American Ambassador in Benghazi, instrumental in the death of an American Boarder Patrol Agent, instrumental in the violation of our US Constitutional rights against illegal searches, directing the IRS and EPA to harass your enemies, cover up New Black Panthers intimidation charges, and you lied about these and many more. Under your reign the average wage in America has dropped by over $5,000, the poverty rate has raised 2%, taxes on the lower and middle class raised by 4%, National Debt raised by $7 trillion dollars, and more people then any time in our history are on welfare and unemployment. I had a video of a Democratic congressman saying “we don’t have a spending problem, we have a revenue problem; the money is still in the taxpayers pockets we haven’t taken it yet” (if someone can find it send it and I’ll post it). You have promised jobs but instead removed them through use of the EPA to shut down or cripple our coal industry, our nuclear energy industry, our oil industry, and even because of your heavy regulations forced our leading solar developers out of our country. You have not kept any promises to the people except you have made a change, it just wasn’t for the good of the country or the world. The American people are suffering and you have shown you don’t care.

The media, you thought you were untouchable but President Obama through his dictatorship way has pointed out you are touchable; what is your next step? I have always tried to look at both sides of an issue to see what is the motivates of the people in charge to go the direction they do; is it a social, religious, ideological agenda, or do they think the rest of the people are just idiots and beneath them. I WARNED YOU people in the media, but you had your blinders on looking at what you perceived as your messiah; have you figured out you were wrong. You abandoned your duty of unbiased reporting of both sides of an issue even when it offended you, you abandoned your duty to scrutinize all politicians, not just the ones which you disagree, because of this; you lost all the respect of the American People which is why your customer base has dwindled away. Why did you do it; this isn’t reporting and you know it but now it is coming back to bite you with a vengeance. Leonard Downie Jr., a former executive editor of The Washington Post, wrote "The Obama Administration and the Press." The report notes President Barack Obama pledged a transparent government but has made it less transparent. President Obama has pursued the most aggressive attack on the media and its reporters, even surpassing President Nixon to control information which is preventing journalist from doing their job. Mr. Downie, an editor during the Post's investigations of Watergate, who’s report was commissioned by the Committee to Protect Journalists stated that despite promising to be more open, Obama had become "more aggressive", stepping up the Espionage Act to pursue those accused of leaking information. "Those suspected of discussing with reporters anything that the government has classified as secret are subject to investigation, including lie detector tests, scrutiny of their telephone, and email records," the report says. This means no more anonymity for you or your sources, did you forget when you wouldn’t report on all the attacks on the 1st Amendment dealing with religious freedom “except the Muslim religion of course”, that the 1st Amendment also held within it the freedom of the press?

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Your neglect of reporting on the attacks on Christianity, Judaism, and freedom of speech has now even put your precious “Freedom of the Press” in the same cross hairs. The government secretly seized telephone records of more than 100 AP journalists; it wasn’t you so you didn’t report it; how is that working for you and your “confidential sources?” You had better start doing your job or our media will end up just like Hugo Chaves; you can only talk about these items in the context I have stated. You hold the key of freedom for all of us; please stop letting us down.
