Is Obamacare Good or Bad and is it a Train Wreck Waiting to Happen?

What does HR 4872 (Obamacare) actually do to help or hurt us? In the beginning we had Senator Pelosi says “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it”; it is the most irresponsible acts I have ever heard or seen come from our congress. With senators not allowed time to read the thousands of Obamacare, they were pocked, prodded, and bribed to pass it. With thousands of pages in this bill, without any debate or reading of the bill by the congress, we shouldn’t be surprised at if it doesn’t stand up to what our president and senators promises. The senators should have been given time to read it before voting on it and all the backroom under the table deals should have been stopped; if it was a good bill it would pass. So what is in the bill to make even Democrats senators today say it is a training wreck? Let’s start off and see which rumors are true and which ones are false.

Is Obama Care Unconstitutional? It is except the Supreme Court changed it from a mandate to a tax. Sense it was changed from its foundation it should have gone back to the senate and voted on as a tax. President Obama even said it was unconstitutional in this clip (skip to about 1:12 to bypass the entire intro).

Obama said, “Your Premiums Will Go Down Under Obamacare”. Is it the truth or another politician lying? Then Obama’s says after everything is passed that premiums will go up and he blames the small business owners. The unions supported Obamacare because like the idiots we have in congress, they didn’t read it before backing it and now it is coming back to bite them in the butt. If your pay goes up 1$ you may have to pay $9,355 hike in your annual premiums. I would Mr. Obama was not truthful about premiums; like politicians on both sides, he lied to get what he wanted and now we have to pay for it. Forbes Magazine says, “Obama Care to Increase Insurance Premiums 64%-146%!”

Will pre-existing conditions be covered for everyone who needs it? No, a pre-existing condition health insurance program established by Obamacare is already straining its own budget. To control costs, the administration’s Health and Human Services Department (HHS) has stopped enrolling any new people in the program. “Due to growing concerns about the rate of PCIP [Pre-existing Condition Insurance Program] spending, in February 2013, CCIIO [under HHS] suspended PCIP enrollment to ensure the appropriated funding would be sufficient to cover claims for current enrollees through the end of the program,” states the GAO report, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act: Enrollment and Spending in the Early Retiree Reinsurance and Pre-existing Condition Insurance Plan Programs. The rationing or denial of health care coverage in the marketplace for people with pre-existing conditions, or insurers charging higher premiums to people with pre-existing conditions were among the reasons cited by President Barack Obama and most congressional Democrats for implementing Obamacare, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. See this video.

Will we get to keep our current health care plan? President Obama said yes but the truth is only some specific union can and won’t loose their grand father status. If any other company changes anything in their current plan, they loose their grandfather status. Does this sound fair to you?

Are microchips are implanted? Up until the senate passed the final version, there was a mandate for a GPS traceable microchip to be force on every person. The final version did “remove” the microchip but as the previous section video showed you, if they want to amend it, they can at will (like they have been doing). The constitution says to amend a bill it must go back in front of the senate; I guess they don’t care about the constitution. Who is to say it won’t be put back in?

Are there death panels? Yes, Obamacare contains largely unreported text that allows the health secretary to limit any “alternative treatments” of the elderly, disabled or terminally ill. It is located on the bill at Sec. 6301\1182 SSA PPACA (Consolidated) page 678. Here you go, “The Secretary shall not use evidence or findings from comparative clinical effectiveness research conducted under section 1181 in determining coverage, reimbursement, or incentive programs under title XVIII in a manner that treats extending the life of an elderly, disabled, or terminally ill individual as of lower value than extending the life of an individual who is younger, nondisabled, or not terminally ill.” This is not a decision made by you and the doctor but the “Secretary” which from what I have read doesn’t even have to be in the medical field and is a political bureaucrat. So I guess you can say yes there is Death Panels

Is it a train wreck? Democratic Senator Max Baucus, the author of Obama Care says, “It is just a huge train wreck coming”. If the author of the bill says it is going to crash and burn, shouldn’t we repeal it and read it before passing it next time? The truth of the matter is; yes, it is a train wreck. We need to appeal it and try again with everyone having a say. We do need something done but this isn’t it, our Congress needs to do their job and read everything before passing it so we can stop it if it is a train wreck again instead of after the train has went off the cliff.

This is what was said on the Senate Floor, it shows employers cutting shifts hours to below thirty hours to prevent being fined. The IRS Chief Daniel Werfel says he’s rather not switch to Obamacare. According to the Congressional Budget Office, an estimated "7 million people will lose their employer-provided health insurance at the end of the year”, (I think it will be higher). This means they will "likely soon be paying $1400 a year (minimum) in mandated taxes (the level set by the Supreme Court), and those costs will rise dramatically over the next few years, according to the current schedule." The New York Times says, “Cities and towns across the country are pushing municipal unions to accept cheaper health benefits in anticipation of a component of the Affordable Care Act that will tax expensive plans”. To break it down, many of the middle and lower class will have to get two jobs. The ones who will keep their 40 hours will not get pay raises until the increased company cost is covered by the raise you would have received. Any senator, Democrat or Republican who voted for this bill without reading it needs to be removed. They receive $174,000 to do a job, not pass a bill without reading it.
