The Deficit

Let’s think about the Sequester coming up and some facts about our government spending and many facts people don’t know or just refuse to believe. Some people are so stooped in their Democrat or Republican ideology they refuse to see the facts. If you are this way, please don’t ever vote again. If you will not take the time to figure out which politicians are liars and crooks, again please don’t vote. The idiots in Washington put us into this predicament and we the voters put them into the position to put us into this predicament; we are just as much at fault usually due to our greed. The Sequester is around 2% of our National budget and the administration (President Obama) could direct the cuts many places to prevent the people from getting hurt but refuses because, this is politics and he wants it to hurt to blame the other side. I am one of those who will be purposefully hurt by this white house and senate. I decided to see what was out there to cut which could keep me and everyone else in the cross hairs from being hurt and found close to 25% of the National budget wasted which turns my stomach. If we did these cuts and cleanups and ran our government as a business, we would be out of debt in 3-6 years.

I have said before that we need to have all the bills in Congress stand on their own and there is a very good reason. Politicians are masters at the art of lying; they can tell you they are spending money but it won’t cost a dime (I would like some of that money). Their trick is this; take the Defense bill for example and attach a lot crap to it which has nothing to do with Defense.  If anyone votes against it, they are against the military when the truth is they are against something other politicians have placed into the defense bill; as you can see this is where all the ear marks come from which is nothing but wasteful spending. When you make every bill stand on its own accord, you will know the true meaning of the bill and what are the politician’s true agendas.

Below are just a few examples of waste in our government which adds up close to $411 billion a year and isn’t by far everything. This was just some of the big and bizarre items; I have attached the links below for most. The US Government takes in around $2.2 trillion a year which means a quarter of our taxes are wasted; this would add up to $4,000 per every US household. If I was to take an educated guess, I would say around a third is wasted. I don’t care which side you vote for but a fiscal conservative, Democrat or Republican is a must or all he have will be gone.

Cleaning Our Own House

We in America are known as the greatest nation on earth. We have advanced technology more then all other nations combined and yet we are close to being the society in history that was on top of the world and disappeared. We have already started to descend, look at our world wide education rating, our drop in manufacturing, our national debt, not to mention our soaring poverty rate. America being the greatest nation on earth should not be following the idiotic policies taking us down this road but instead the wisdom of our founding fathers. We need to clean all areas of our own house so we can be3 that great beacon to the world.

John Adams
Each individual of the society has a right to be protected by it in the enjoyment of his life, liberty, and property, according to standing laws. He is obliged, consequently, to contribute his share to the expense of this protection; and to give his personal service, or an equivalent, when necessary. But no part of the property of any individual can, with justice, be taken from him, or applied to public uses, without his own consent, or that of the representative body of the people.

Spoiled Brat

I am far from being rich but I do see just shy of 50% of the people pay no taxes and in fact get more money back at the end of the year then they pay in. This is not, “contribute his share to the expense of this protection” but yet draining society and being a non-contributor but in reality, our elected officials and society has done this to them.

Thomas Jefferson
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

It is not the purpose for the government to take care and provide for you, yet for you to provide for yourself. The government is there to make sure you get the same chance as everyone else. It does nothing but destroy the will and self confidence of people when you take care of them without them having to lift a hand.

George Washington
It is not everyone who asketh that deserveth charity; all however, are worth of the inquiry or the deserving may suffer

We are a very giving nation but if you are suffering do to your purposeful refusal to put your priorities in order that is your problem. If you have the means to buy insurance and don’t then wreck your car, I’m not going to help you buy another car. I see so many who have the means for the priorities they know the need but choose to have Smart Phones, Fancy Cars, and smokes 2 to 3 packs of cigarettes a day instead. When something goes wrong these will be the first demanding money or free healthcare because “they couldn’t afford it”. Take away their toys and they can. The first things out of their mouths “tax the rich so we can get more free government stuff”. I wonder what the founding fathers said about that.

Thomas Jefferson
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical

Thomas Jefferson
The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

This sounds like 45% of our society today and it’s wrong, get off you lazy butt and get a job.

Voting

We have voter fraud running amuck in our great nation. The senator who was down by 15 point won in a landslide. The group overseeing the voting was SEIU, the same group who beat a guy half to death and destroyed his stand for selling merchandise at a political rally they didn’t like. In the last election in Florida 53,000 dead people registered to vote; that must be one hell of a trick! Across the US over 1.8 million dead people registered to vote. There were 2.75 million people registered in multiple states, and even worse than that, Illegal aliens were registered and voting in our elections and the politicians will do nothing to stop these atrocities. One lady in Ohio admitted to voting 5 times and in California an illegal alien admitted the same.

George Washington
Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence, (I conjure you to believe me fellow citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake; since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of Republican Government.

This would be a cinch to fix. First anyone without an ID doesn’t get to vote. We have to have an ID to get cigarettes or alcohol and voting is more important. The politicians who are against mandating voter IDs need to be removed from office because they are condoning voter fraud and they are sworn to protect the constitution. The people who don’t what to have an ID to vote is either not allowed to vote (Felon, Illegal aliens, not registered in that voting area), or want others to vote illegally for their political agenda; this is UN-American! We need to start using BIO scanners; this is a device that takes your fingerprint or iris scan for ID verification. Add a password and the ability to check your selection after the fact and you will clean up 95% of the fraud going on in the elections today (you will never get rid of it all, to many lawyers). They can get the BIO scan while they are getting registered to vote. All voting stations have cameras and if anyone votes more then once you can validate they committed fraud and charge them along with removing all their votes. If some ingenuous way another votes on their record, wipe all votes under that BIO scan clean and have them re-vote. With all this being said, we need to get back to having integrity in our elections. No political party or agenda should ever be allowed to put election integrity into question.

Elected scoundrels, Out Right Fraud

When you watch a company receive a $30 million dollar stimulus, then turn around and donate $100,000 dollars to the political party giving them the stimulus, and then file for bankruptcy; you have just watched what is known as “money laundering” by the political party giving the stimulus which is a felony. So why are our politicians allowed to get away with it? They (all parties) get away with not paying taxes, underage prostitutes, sexual harassment, bribery, drunk driving, and a countless list of other infractions and yet their colleagues do not remove them through action if they are in the same party and their constituents reelect them knowing they are criminals. Elected official caught committing criminal acts should be barred from ever being able to hold public office again. Their punishment under the law should be more harsh then the common citizen because they should be setting the example.

Samuel Adams
How strangely will the Tools of a Tyrant pervert the plain Meaning of Words!

Both parties are perverting for what our founding fathers stood. They take an oath to protect and uphold the US Constitution and never do. Our own Democratic president has illegal aliens here in his family, convicted of DUIs and not being deported; why? We had a Republican Governor how had hired illegal aliens to work for him and again, nothing was done to them.

Alexander Hamilton
A fondness for power is implanted, in most men, and it is natural to abuse it, when acquired.

Alexander Hamilton nailed our problem today; our government officials instead of being for the people are now for themselves. Our officials should not have a lifetime of getting rich off the government. They need to first prove themselves in the private world as should our collage educators. Neither should be teaching or leading the people if they can’t survive in the real world. Theology is not necessarily a bad thing unless it comes from a completely academic view; there is no practical experience to support it.

Patrick Henry
The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people; it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government

Our founding fathers were much smarter then our politicians today. They understood and held the beast of tyrannizes at arms length; not embrace it like a long lost brother as many of our politicians do today.

William Ellery
The office of government is not to confer happiness, but to give men the opportunity to work out happiness for themselves.

These are the words of our founding fathers yet every time you turn around our leaders are giving more of our money away to people who are given the opportunity to work out happiness for themselves but would rather take a handout then work. It isn’t their fault as much as it is our politicians.

James Madison
I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.

Patrick Henry
The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them.

So if am reading Patrick Henry right, all these back room behind close door meetings will put our liberties in danger; they already have. There is a story about cooking a frog. If you through a frog into a boiling pan of hot water it will immediately jump out; but if you put it in a pan of lukewarm water and slowly turn up the heat, it will be cooked alive without jumping out. This is the same for us and our liberties. If the politicians tried to take our liberties all at once, we would revolt; but if they just shave a little here and shave a little their, before we know what has happened, we’re cooked.

John Adams
But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.

William Ellery
The worst tyrants are those which establish themselves in our own breasts.

Lack of Ethics, Morals, and Integrity

Charles Carroll
Without morals a republic cannot subsist any length of time.

This sounds familiar; our society has lost our ethical and moral foundation in this country and is headed (thanks to both parties) in a direction which will soon be unrecoverable.

Thomas Jefferson
Give up money, give up fame, give up science, and give the earth itself and all it contains rather than do an immoral act.

The Integrity which once shined throughout the world has been tarnished by our politicians allowing outside influence to change the direction our founding fathers set us on.

Alexander Hamilton
Foreign influence is truly the Grecian horse to a republic. We cannot be too careful to exclude its influence.

The national debt which has piled up from both parties is destroying our nations and all our politicians care about is getting reelected. I could not do what our government has done without ending up in bankruptcy court which is where we are headed. It is immoral to have the debt we currently have and no, spending more will not make it go away. The most upsetting item is many of our politicians don’t see a problem; talk about being financially irresponsible.

Thomas Jefferson
A private central bank issuing the public currency is a greater menace to the liberties of the people than a standing army." We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt."

The news people, no longer have any integrity. I would call them journalists (the occupation of reporting, writing, editing, photographing, or broadcasting news) but the definition doesn’t include purposefully lying about events or covering only one side of a story; they once were respectable but no longer. This is the current state of our news people and I don’t know if they will ever again be respectable.

George Clymer
A printer publishes a lie: for which he ought to stand in the pillory, for the people believe in and act upon it.

What’s best for our nation?

John Adams
A constitution founded on these principles introduces knowledge among the people, and inspires them with a conscious dignity becoming freemen; a general emulation takes place, which causes good humor, sociability, good manners, and good morals to be general. That elevation of sentiment inspired by such a government makes the common people brave and enterprising. That ambition which is inspired by it makes them sober, industrious, and frugal.

What is best for America is what is stated above. The monstrous amalgamation of regulations need to be removed and in place a set of common sense regulations that are not like a noose tightening around the necks of businesses.

Thomas Jefferson
The greatest [calamity] which could befall [us would be] submission to a government of unlimited powers.

I believe Thomas Jefferson is dead on the money. The more we have of government messing up our lives the more we lose our freedom. Many politicians think the government should run everything in your life but our founding fathers once again had something to say about this.

Thomas Jefferson
My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.

Our founding fathers even knew the cause of all the gun violence we see today even though many of our politicians will never admit it.

Thomas Paine
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined, nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides from an unarmed man, may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

I will leave you with a few more founding father’s quotes and like I said, they are much smarter then our politicians today.

George Washington
Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism.

Thomas Jefferson
If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.

George Washington
It is an old adage that honesty is the best policy. This applies to public as well as private life, to states as well as individuals.

Thomas Jefferson
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

Thomas Paine
Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.

Crime and the Cause

Facing a surging homicide rate and several headline-grabbing murders, Chicago’s top cop says more gun control measures are needed. He blames the NRA for the high crime rate which is his refusal to recognize a failed gun policy. Most every high crime city has strict gun control policies and the criminals like that. When the New York Journal News released all the name of gun owners and their addresses the criminals loved it, now they know which houses are not protected. Good job New York Journal News.

First let’s take a look at some facts, why is Chicago’s crime rate being so publicized, because that is where the president calls home? They are reporting a high violent crime rate but they are not even close to being at the top. Chicago has some of the harsh gun laws in the US and guess what, it’s not working. Why, because criminals do not follow the law. Let’s take a look at what cities are the highest crime rates and who will not protect you because they keep following failed policies proven not to work. Below are the 10 most dangerous cities for 2012-2013 in the US. Can you see any similarities (Notice Chicago isn’t one of them)?

If you comparison the above to the 1960’s it would have been close in the amount of Democrats to Republican mayors were in charge. I’m an independent but the facts are shown above, if it was the other way I would say the same against the other party. The bottom line is if you are a criminal you want your own “gun free zone” and an unarmed public is perfect. The hard cold fact (and statistics) these days shows if you want to have your children along with yourself protected, don’t move to a democratically controlled city. When you keep voting for crooks to be your mayor, they are going to rip you and the city you call home off. Look at Kwame Kilpatrick of Detroit, Ron Salahuddin of Newark, and Marion Barry of DC for some good examples. Marion Barry went to prison for being a crook and after he was released the public elected him to the D.C. city council, how stupid it that.

Illinois has probably one of the worst records; just look at their last seven governors who all went to prison:

Rod Blagojevich -- Governor from 2002 through 2009, when he became the first Illinois governor in history to be impeached. Convicted of numerous corruption charges in 2011, including allegations that he tried to sell or trade President Barack Obama's old Senate seat.

George Ryan -- Governor from 1999 through 2003. After leaving office, was convicted of racketeering for actions as governor and secretary of state. In November 2007, began serving a 6 1/2 year sentence in federal prison.

Dan Walker -- Governor from 1973-1977. He pleaded guilty to bank fraud and other charges in 1987 related to his business activities after leaving office. He was sentenced to much more but only spent about a year and a half in federal prison.

Otto Kerner -- was convicted on 17 counts of mail fraud, conspiracy, perjury, and related charges.

If you want to ignore the criminal element then look at the poverty side of the coin because poverty does drive crime and as many know, they both go hand in hand.

Below are the poorest large cities in the US.

Many of the poorest are also the most violent. Their mayors are not protecting or building chances for the poor to make it out; you can do it, I did. If you want your city to be safer vote the Democrats or Republicans who is for gun control out of office, the criminals will hate it. When criminals don’t know who else has a gun around them, they are weary because do not know if they have the advantage anymore. They will move to a strict gun controlled safe zone to increase their odds of being the only person in the area with a gun. If you don’t vote them out of office then quit complaining every time an innocent child is killed. You could have helped prevent it but refuse to vote for what is best for your city and family; you are the cause of their death. The saddest part is the next child killed may be yours. The Chicago top cop is a party line person and is not there to protect you, only the puppet master politicians who put him there and pulls his strings. Make no mistake; neither he nor the mayor in any high crime town is there for you.

Tyranny and Our Government

Tyranny, it is what our founding father fought and died to deliver us from and has been the direction of our elected officials and government for the past 20+ years but to recognize what tyranny is you must understand the definition.

Tyranny: Arbitrary or unrestrained exercise of power; despotic (Synonym: oppressive, tyrannical, dictatorship) abuse of authority; the government or rule of a tyrant or absolute ruler. A state ruled by a tyrant or absolute rule; oppressive or unjustly severe government on the part of any ruler; undue severity or harshness.

Does this sound familiar; it should because for the past two to four decades it has been the direction of our government. Our police and military are being trained to disarm the American citizens, but if our lawmakers believe in the US Constitution, why would the do that; they wouldn’t! Remember the words of a politician are like the actions of a wolf, used to lure the lamb to the slaughter. This reminds me of a fable I once read:

The Wolf and the Lamb

A Wolf, meeting with a Lamb astray from the fold, resolved not to lay violent hands on him, but to find some plea to justify to the Lamb the Wolf’s right to eat him. He thus addressed him: “Sirrah, last year you grossly insulted me.” “Indeed,” bleated the Lamb in a mournful tone of voice, “I was not then born.” Then said the Wolf, “You feed in my pasture.” “No, good sir,” replied the Lamb, “I have not yet tasted grass.” Again said the Wolf, “You drink of my well.” “No,” exclaimed the Lamb, “I never yet drank water, for as yet my mother’s milk is both food and drink to me.” Upon which the Wolf seized him and ate him up, saying, “Well! I won’t remain supperless, even though you refute every one of my imputations.”  The tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny.

Aesop's Fables (p. 15). Amazon Digital Services, Inc.

It reminds me of our politicians because they try and justify their immoral and many times illegal actions and when we the people call their bluff, we are devoured like the innocent lamb. What happens when we are not devoured? We are used like and not given what had been promised as in “The Wolf and the Crane”.

The Wolf and the Crane

A WOLF who had a bone stuck in his throat hired a Crane, for a large sum, to put her head into his mouth and draw out the bone. When the Crane had extracted the bone and demanded the promised payment, the Wolf, grinning and grinding his teeth, exclaimed: “Why, you have surely already had a sufficient recompense, in having been permitted to draw out your head in safety from the mouth and jaws of a wolf.” In serving the wicked, expect no reward, and be thankful if you escape injury for your pains.

Aesop's Fables (p. 17). Amazon Digital Services, Inc.

Our politicians have exchanged our liberty for their tyranny. I have attached some very interesting videos you might want to watch that spells out our problems and the politicians and government becoming more and more tyrannical and dictator like. I wonder what the founding fathers thought about this. Here is some of their quotes:

"Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism." George Washington

“Arms in the hands of individual citizens may be used at individual discretion for the defense of the country, the over-throw of tyranny, or in private self-defense” John Adams

"It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible." George Washington

“It's not tyranny we desire; it's a just, limited, federal government.” Alexander Hamilton

"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." George Washington

“Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.” George Washington

“If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy” James Madison

“Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.” Thomas Jefferson

“Men must be governed by God or they will be ruled by tyrants” William Penn

“Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of a day; but a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers, too plainly prove a deliberate, systematic plan of reducing [a people] to slavery.” Thomas Jefferson

"The liberties of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring a mark of everlasting infamy on the present generation – enlightened as it is – if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of designing men." Samuel Adams

“How strangely will the Tools of a Tyrant pervert the plain Meaning of Words!” Samuel Adams”

“Do not separate text from historical background. If you do, you will have perverted and subverted the Constitution, which can only end in a distorted, bastardized form of illegitimate government” James Madison

“Those who surrender freedom for security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.” Benjamin Franklin
