Is There an Attack on Christians and America?

I have debated doing this kind of article for a long time but giving all the other chaos we have in our country and neither party in congress wanting to follow the constitution, I thought it would be interesting in what comes up. I don’t care what religion one is but I will be honest and you may not like it. Religion has been a part of our countries history from the beginning even though some are trying to write this part of our past and out of the history books. Many of the history books today are inaccurate for the sole purpose of rewriting history but my question is “In our country is Christianity under attack and is our Country under attack?” Weather I like it or not I’m a realist and this country was founded on Judeo Christian values; just setting a foundation, enough about that.

The first article I ran into was “American Student Punished for Refusing to Recite Mexican Pledge”; I asked which country was he in. It was in the McAllen Independent School District in Texas, defiantly the last place I would have thought. It’s amazing, her school and her teachers punished her for refusing to salute and recite the Mexican pledge of allegiance; in the same school district has a policy that prohibits a school from compelling students to recite the American Pledge of Allegiance. Does anyone besides me see the problem here? Every member including the superintendent, principle, teacher, or anyone else that believes in this ideology needs to be fired and sent to Mexico. Dallas Democratic State Representative Roberto Alonzo said to question the loyalty of the teacher and school district is unfair. William Brinsdon, the girls father backs his daughter and said that reciting a pledge to any other nation has no place in public schools; I agree.

A federal court has ruled that a California public school had the authority to prevent students from wearing clothing emblazoned with pro-American messages on the Mexican holiday Cinco de Mayo. Are you kidding me! When a judge makes a ruling like this they need to be removed from the bench permanently! Too many Americans died for our flag to allow some nut case judge to disrespect it; if they are afraid of offending someone; TOO LATE, I’m offended. U. S. District Court Judge James Ware for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit made the decision. What idiot put him on the 9th you must ask? The 9th has been overturned more then all the other courts put together so whoever is putting them  on the bench is wasting allot of tax payers money; remove them all and have them replaced with someone that follows the US Constitution, not circumvent it.

In Tulsa OK the Owasso Public Schools refused equal access (that violates the law) to “Kids for Christ” club’s, and refused to allow them to promote its activities however allow many other groups, Boy Scouts, YMCA, and even Baja Jack’s Burrito Shack the ability to promote their activities. District Superintendent Clark Ogilvie believed advertising will “stir up trouble”. I do believe that is a violation of the 1st amendment right in several different ways but I was shocked it was in Oklahoma.

A New Jersey teacher was removed from school for anti-gay remarks she allegedly posted on her Facebook that criticize a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history month displays. Facebook seams to be the hatchet place for any Christian teachers, students, parents, or school administrators who express their personal views on their personal site. In August, Florida "Teacher of the Year" Jerry Buell was suspended for his Facebook page denouncing New York's decision to allow same-sex marriage. The main reason I brought this up was because I just showed you where a teacher forcing students to say the pledge allegiance to another country in the classroom and is defended by the school for their personal views but here they are suspended and it was on their personal site, not on school grounds. I do not agree with what either teacher did; but the greater offence which is in the classroom fits the schools political agenda so it is defended.

Amherst Massachusetts residents are protesting the town’s refusal to fly American flags on September 11 to recognize the anniversary of the terrorist attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people. Tony Maroulis, executive director of the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce said “I understand how polarizing the flag can be in this community. Some might look at the flags as a brazen symbol of might and oppression,”. So our flag is oppressive. Please go somewhere else to live other then under the protection of this oppressive flag.

A Georgia man ticketed and threatened with jail, what was his offence; flying the American Flag. An Albany officer ticketed Tom Gieryic’s sighting his flag which had been there for 30 years was in violating of city ordinance. The city changed it to a warning and multiple calls by news agencies to the Albany city manager were not returned. So you want to talk about too much government; here is a good example.

Churches can no longer use public schools or community centers to hold worship services in New York City. The city’s Housing Authority was also attempting to remove churches from all public space. The only question that needs to be asked here is if every group were removed or was it just Christians? The answer is just Christians which makes it a violation of the 1st Amendment and the equal access law.

A Virginia school district placed a 17-year-old Honor Roll student was placed on probationary status because she completed community service at a church. Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology faculty advisor said that she was in violation of the district's policy. The Virginia school district did reverse its decision (after being pressured) saying that the faculty adviser was mistaken. John Torre said “A mistake was made,”. “It was an honest mistake. There was nothing sinister about it.” I don’t believe him.

I would say not only are Christians under attack in this country but true Americans are also under attack by their own people. When we have people teaching our children and running our cities showing outright hatred for our flag, we have a problem. If you don’t like this country leave! When you have the first lady saying, “All this for a damn flag”, something is terribly wrong.
