School Unions Putting Our Children at Risk!

Do you realize how many dangerous criminals the teacher’s unions across the US keep employed and even defend just to make that extra dollar? It is frightening to see how much corruption is in our school system and politicians which are puppets of the teacher’s unions. Our children have been physically and sexually abused by teachers and the victims are victimized once again by the teachers unions defending the indefensible actions of these predators just to make that extra dollar. Look at where the abuse takes place and where the biggest teachers unions are and it’s amazing, they are in the same place. Below are a few examples:

1.      A New York bus driver fired for failing a drug test will be reinstated? Cynthia DiDomenicantonio was putting our children in danger by being high and was fired for failing a drug test in November 2009 will be reinstated; how ignorant is our court system, here is a good example. The Shenendehowa Central School District had adopted a zero-tolerance policy for positive drug tests and she failed and was fired before she had hurt any kids but let’s give her a second chance to hurt the kids. The arbitrator, meanwhile, found the dismissal in violation of a collective bargaining agreement and ordered DiDomenicantonio reinstated. So let me get this right; In the Civil Service Employees Association (their union) collective bargaining agreement says you can do drugs and endanger our kids. Does the judge who reinstated her have kids or just getting something on the backside? Do we have anymore cases like this? 2.      In New York City again the public schools system reinstated 14 teachers thanks to United Federation of Teachers. Gym and health teacher Willie Laraque was charged with bending a male student over a desk, leaning in to him and saying, "I’ll show you what is gay. Norman Siegel was accused of pressing his genitalia against a female student’s leg. Siegel only received a 45-day unpaid suspension, "although the arbitrator found that the girl’s charge was likely true and that Siegel was previously accused of a similar offense. Edward Cascio, a gym teacher who accepted pornographic pictures from a student. The district tried to fire these individuals, but the UFT appealed the decisions to arbitrators, who gave the teachers their jobs back. Well let’s look to other states. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/04/14/monsters-in-the-classroom

3.      Wisconsin- Linda Kiser was accused by various witnesses of pinching special needs students in the neck and shoulder area, pulling them by the arms and pushing them into chairs. Her union, the Kewaskum Education Association, decided to fight her termination. Kiser reportedly admitted to the arbitrator that she used physical force to control special needs students which left marks. http://eagnews.org/reinstatement-of-wisconsin-teacher-demonstrates-union-willingness-to-compromise-student-safety/

4.      California paid the union teacher at the center of the Miramonte child sexual abuse scandal $40,000 as part of a settlement in the wake of accusations of classroom behavior deemed “immoral” and “unprofessional” as well as a claim of “evident unfitness for service.” Under the agreement, Berndt, 61, is entitled to his full pension and retirement health benefits. http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/LAUSD-Miramonte-Elementary-School-Mark-Berndt-139058999.html

There are many teachers who teach because they really love the kids but unfortunately the unions have added many predators to the teacher’s rolls. Many Teacher Unions claim all they want is the Pay that the teachers deserve for their devotion to properly educate and protect our kids (Does the above sound like properly educating and protecting our children). Their devotion isn’t to the kids as it should be but money and power. I think if you watch this video you might see the truth about teachers unions, especially in the bigger unions.

This is why we were really better off when teachers didn’t make as much because when they weren’t paid as well, you knew they were there because they loved the children and to teach. It was never about the money but in today’s schools with the union’s stance as shown in the video, it says it all “It’s not about the kids but power and money”.
