We in America
are known as the greatest nation on earth. We have advanced technology more
then all other nations combined and yet we are close to being the society in
history that was on top of the world and disappeared. We have already started
to descend, look at our world wide education rating, our drop in manufacturing,
our national debt, not to mention our soaring poverty rate. America being
the greatest nation on earth should not be following the idiotic policies
taking us down this road but instead the wisdom of our founding fathers. We
need to clean all areas of our own house so we can be3 that great beacon to the
world.
John Adams
Each individual of the society has a right to be protected
by it in the enjoyment of his life, liberty, and property, according to
standing laws. He is obliged, consequently, to contribute his share to the
expense of this protection; and to give his personal service, or an equivalent,
when necessary. But no part of the property of any individual can, with
justice, be taken from him, or applied to public uses, without his own consent,
or that of the representative body of the people.
Spoiled Brat
I am far from being rich but I do see just shy of 50% of the
people pay no taxes and in fact get more money back at the end of the year then
they pay in. This is not, “contribute his share to the expense of this
protection” but yet draining society and being a non-contributor but in
reality, our elected officials and society has done this to them.
Thomas Jefferson
I predict future happiness for
Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the
people under the pretense of taking care of them.
It is not the purpose for the government to take care and
provide for you, yet for you to provide for yourself. The government is there
to make sure you get the same chance as everyone else. It does nothing but
destroy the will and self confidence of people when you take care of them
without them having to lift a hand.
George Washington
It is not everyone who asketh that deserveth charity; all
however, are worth of the inquiry or the deserving may suffer
We are a very giving nation but if you are suffering do to
your purposeful refusal to put your priorities in order that is your problem.
If you have the means to buy insurance and don’t then wreck your car, I’m not
going to help you buy another car. I see so many who have the means for the
priorities they know the need but choose to have Smart Phones, Fancy Cars, and
smokes 2 to 3 packs of cigarettes a day instead. When something goes wrong
these will be the first demanding money or free healthcare because “they
couldn’t afford it”. Take away their toys and they can. The first things out of
their mouths “tax the rich so we can get more free government stuff”. I wonder
what the founding fathers said about that.
Thomas Jefferson
To compel a man to subsidize with
his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful
and tyrannical
Thomas Jefferson
The democracy will cease to exist
when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who
would not.
This sounds like 45% of our society today and it’s wrong,
get off you lazy butt and get a job.
Voting
We have voter fraud running amuck
in our great nation. The senator who was down by 15 point won in a landslide.
The group overseeing the voting was SEIU, the same group who beat a guy half to
death and destroyed his stand for selling merchandise at a political rally they
didn’t like. In the last election in Florida
53,000 dead people registered to vote; that must be one hell of a trick! Across
the US
over 1.8 million dead people registered to vote. There were 2.75 million people
registered in multiple states, and even worse than that, Illegal aliens were
registered and voting in our elections and the politicians will do nothing to
stop these atrocities. One lady in Ohio
admitted to voting 5 times and in California
an illegal alien admitted the same.
George Washington
Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence, (I conjure
you to believe me fellow citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be
constantly awake; since history and experience prove that foreign influence is
one of the most baneful foes of Republican Government.
This would be a cinch to
fix. First anyone without an ID doesn’t get to vote. We have to have an ID to
get cigarettes or alcohol and voting is more important. The politicians who are
against mandating voter IDs need to be removed from office because they are
condoning voter fraud and they are sworn to protect the constitution. The
people who don’t what to have an ID to vote is either not allowed to vote
(Felon, Illegal aliens, not registered in that voting area), or want others to
vote illegally for their political agenda; this is UN-American! We need to
start using BIO scanners; this is a device that takes your fingerprint or iris
scan for ID verification. Add a password and the ability to check your selection
after the fact and you will clean up 95% of the fraud going on in the elections
today (you will never get rid of it all, to many lawyers). They can get the BIO
scan while they are getting registered to vote. All voting stations have
cameras and if anyone votes more then once you can validate they committed
fraud and charge them along with removing all their votes. If some ingenuous
way another votes on their record, wipe all votes under that BIO scan clean and
have them re-vote. With all this being said, we need to get back to having
integrity in our elections. No political party or agenda should ever be allowed
to put election integrity into question.
Elected scoundrels, Out
Right Fraud
When you watch a company receive a $30 million dollar stimulus,
then turn around and donate $100,000 dollars to the political party giving them
the stimulus, and then file for bankruptcy; you have just watched what is known
as “money laundering” by the political party giving the stimulus which is a
felony. So why are our politicians allowed to get away with it? They (all
parties) get away with not paying taxes, underage prostitutes, sexual
harassment, bribery, drunk driving, and a countless list of other infractions
and yet their colleagues do not remove them through action if they are in the
same party and their constituents reelect them knowing they are criminals. Elected
official caught committing criminal acts should be barred from ever being able
to hold public office again. Their punishment under the law should be more
harsh then the common citizen because they should be setting the example.
Samuel Adams
How strangely will the Tools of a Tyrant pervert the plain
Meaning of Words!
Both parties are perverting for what our founding fathers
stood. They take an oath to protect and uphold the US Constitution and never
do. Our own Democratic president has illegal aliens here in his family, convicted
of DUIs and not being deported; why? We had a Republican Governor how had hired
illegal aliens to work for him and again, nothing was done to them.
Alexander Hamilton
A fondness for power is implanted, in most men, and it is
natural to abuse it, when acquired.
Alexander Hamilton nailed our problem today; our government officials
instead of being for the people are now for themselves. Our officials should
not have a lifetime of getting rich off the government. They need to first
prove themselves in the private world as should our collage educators. Neither
should be teaching or leading the people if they can’t survive in the real
world. Theology is not necessarily a bad thing unless it comes from a
completely academic view; there is no practical experience to support it.
Patrick Henry
The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to
restrain the people; it is an instrument for the people to restrain the
government
Our founding fathers were much
smarter then our politicians today. They understood and held the beast of tyrannizes
at arms length; not embrace it like a long lost brother as many of our
politicians do today.
William Ellery
The office of government is not to confer happiness, but to
give men the opportunity to work out happiness for themselves.
These are the words of our founding fathers yet every time you
turn around our leaders are giving more of our money away to people who are
given the opportunity to work out happiness for themselves but would rather
take a handout then work. It isn’t their fault as much as it is our
politicians.
James Madison
I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the
Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of
benevolence, the money of their constituents.
Patrick Henry
The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be,
secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them.
So if am reading Patrick Henry right, all these back room
behind close door meetings will put our liberties in danger; they already have.
There is a story about cooking a frog. If you through a frog into a boiling pan
of hot water it will immediately jump out; but if you put it in a pan of lukewarm
water and slowly turn up the heat, it will be cooked alive without jumping out.
This is the same for us and our liberties. If the politicians tried to take our
liberties all at once, we would revolt; but if they just shave a little here
and shave a little their, before we know what has happened, we’re cooked.
John Adams
But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom,
can never be restored. Liberty,
once lost, is lost forever.
William Ellery
The worst tyrants are those which establish themselves in
our own breasts.
Lack of Ethics,
Morals, and Integrity
Charles Carroll
Without morals a republic cannot subsist any length of time.
This sounds familiar; our society has lost our ethical and
moral foundation in this country and is headed (thanks to both parties) in a
direction which will soon be unrecoverable.
Thomas Jefferson
Give up money, give up fame, give
up science, and give the earth itself and all it contains rather than do an
immoral act.
The Integrity which once shined throughout the world has
been tarnished by our politicians allowing outside influence to change the direction
our founding fathers set us on.
Alexander Hamilton
Foreign influence is truly the Grecian horse to a republic.
We cannot be too careful to exclude its influence.
The national debt which has piled up from both parties is destroying
our nations and all our politicians care about is getting reelected. I could
not do what our government has done without ending up in bankruptcy court which
is where we are headed. It is immoral to have the debt we currently have and
no, spending more will not make it go away. The most upsetting item is many of
our politicians don’t see a problem; talk about being financially irresponsible.
Thomas Jefferson
A private central bank issuing the
public currency is a greater menace to the liberties of the people than a
standing army." We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual
debt."
The news people, no longer have any
integrity. I would call them journalists (the
occupation of reporting, writing, editing, photographing, or broadcasting news) but the definition doesn’t include purposefully
lying about events or covering only one side of a story; they once were
respectable but no longer. This is the current state of our news people
and I don’t know if they will ever again be respectable.
George Clymer
A printer publishes a lie: for which he ought to stand in
the pillory, for the people believe in and act upon it.
What’s best for our
nation?
John Adams
A constitution founded on these principles introduces
knowledge among the people, and inspires them with a conscious dignity becoming
freemen; a general emulation takes place, which causes good humor, sociability,
good manners, and good morals to be general. That elevation of sentiment
inspired by such a government makes the common people brave and enterprising.
That ambition which is inspired by it makes them sober, industrious, and
frugal.
What is best for America is what is stated above.
The monstrous amalgamation
of regulations need to be removed and in place a set of common sense
regulations that are not like a noose tightening around the necks of
businesses.
Thomas Jefferson
The greatest [calamity] which could
befall [us would be] submission to a government of unlimited powers.
I believe Thomas Jefferson is dead
on the money. The more we have of government messing up our lives the more we
lose our freedom. Many politicians think the government should run everything
in your life but our founding fathers once again had something to say about
this.
Thomas Jefferson
My reading of history convinces me
that most bad government results from too much government.
Our founding fathers even knew the
cause of all the gun violence we see today even though many of our politicians
will never admit it.
Thomas Paine
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who
are neither inclined, nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things
worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants. They serve rather to
encourage than prevent homicides from an unarmed man, may be attacked with
greater confidence than an armed man.
I will leave you with a few more
founding father’s quotes and like I said, they are much smarter then our
politicians today.
George Washington
Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism.
Thomas Jefferson
If a nation expects to be ignorant
and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will
be.
George Washington
It is an old adage that honesty is the best policy. This
applies to public as well as private life, to states as well as individuals.
Thomas Jefferson
The strongest reason for the people
to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect
themselves against tyranny in government.
Thomas Paine
Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have
this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the
triumph.
