Congress Attacking the Second Amendment Again

Once again they are gearing up and trying to take your 2nd Amendment rights away anyway they can. If you believe in the US Constitution and the 2nd Amendment you need to put these people out of office; if you don’t then ignore this but don’t say a word when they come for your Constitutional rights; ask the fisheries in the north east. If they just want to keep coming after the “Law Abiding Citizens” and not the criminals they don’t deserve to be in office. Since the ruling of the US Supreme Court that all have the right to own guns some congressional people are still trying to take our rights any way they can.

Arkansas Carry, a gun rights group, on Saturday plans to hold an invitation-only "open carry" march in Fort Smith to highlight the disputed law, which took effect Aug. 16. Attorney General Dustin McDaniel last month said the new law makes technical corrections regarding the possession of a handgun but didn't remove the restrictions on carrying weapons openly. Go HERE and in the “ACT” box type 746 to read the bill yourself. It contradicts itself which you will see but the bottom line in Attorney General Dustin McDaniel is wrong if you read the whole bill but he is a liberal Democrat and very anti-gun so the law doesn’t matter to him apparently, kind of like our US Attorney General.

Representative Danny K. Davis (D-Ill.) and Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) are sponsoring legislation which amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to include a 20 percent tax on handguns "pistols [and] revolvers" as well as a 50 percent tax on "shells and cartridges." The bill is H.R. 3018 and it is titled the "Gun Violence Prevention and Safe Communities Act of 2013.

Senate Bill 475 (Leno) allows San Francisco officials to effectively BAN gun shows and the sale of firearms in the Cow Palace at the Fairgrounds.  This anti-gun bill is on its final reading in the Assembly and could be considered at anytime.

Assembly Bill 231 (Ting) expands the law relating to the storage of firearms.  This bill does nothing to reduce California's violent crime problem and only turn law-abiding gun owners into criminals whether or not anything harmful actually happens, and regardless of whether there was any misconduct on the part of the gun owner.  Ultimately, AB 231 is a misguided proposal that imposes unprecedented liability on those who choose to exercise their fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Senate Bill 108 (Yee) requires mandatory locked storage of firearms in a locked house regardless of whether anyone is present.
Illinois has enacted so many gun restrictions and all they do is hinder the law abiding citizen; they have even created “Safe Passage Routes” in Chicago which are gun free zones and of course that will stop the criminals and murders in these areas; but it didn’t. The eyes of the city were on Chicago Public Schools “Safe Passage” routes as a 28-year-old man was shot along one of the routes and a 14-year-old boy was shot to death near another one the day before school started. The 14-year-old boy was shot and killed within a block of a welcoming elementary school, Melody Stem School, 3937 W. Wilcox. It’s at least the third fatal shooting along or near a Safe Passage route since mid-August. Chicago politicians are enabling the murders of their children but politics is all that matters to them. Would you believe that when President Obama was a State Senator he sponsored (SB 2386) to shielding a person who was attacked from being sued in civil court by perpetrators or their estates; it was Illinois’ "stand your ground" law which was a defense used in protecting his or her person, dwelling or other property. None of the media will carried this story during the Trayvon Martin case or any story that shows how guns save peoples lives like the following.

Unfortunately most of the time our government victimizes the victim as is repeatedly done in California like the following.

In California criminals get let out early and commit more crimes because they know that states like California will never give anyone hard time. Their logic places the blame on gun owners for crime instead of the true problem, the politicians and criminals which in many cases are one and the same. None of the legislation they have offered would have stopped one crime but it’s the guns fault, not the criminal according to them just like it is the forks fault if I’m fat. Politicians, proof zombies already exist (our congress).

  2. I'm from France, and I can't believe your speech which tells that if Americans are no more allowed to use weapons, the United-States will not be a democracy anymore.
I think that people who think like you are dangerous people, who had a lack of education in their childhood. You take the example of Hitler in Germany, but this is nonsense. Indeed, if we think, exactly like you, that without guns, we are oppressed people, then the United-States of America is the only democratic country in the world. What about France ? What about England ? What about Spain ? Over there, buying and holding guns anywhere isn't allowed and it only changes one thing in our lives : less than 100 persons are killed each year in those countries because of firearms. People killed in America because of firearms are more than 9000 each year. So GOD BLESS AMERICA. In Europe, we still live in democracy, and if someone seems dangerous to us, we have some policemen who can help.
The problem in America is that some influence groups like the NRA (lobbying groups) don't let the official government to change the Constitution (even if it would be better for every citizens). And you call that a democracy ?

  3. I am glad to hear from any country and thanks for commenting. Just as in your country, if we gave up our weapons we would no longer be able to defend ourselves from a tyrannical government. We would become like many European countries where if we spoke against the government, we would be thrown into jail; that isn't freedom. If you check out your history, the first thing you will see is that Hitler, Castro, Qaddafi, Stalin, Idi Amin, Mao, Pel Pot, did was disarm their people, then they murdered and massacred any who disagreed, it has been repeated throughout history many times. You are right about one thing, those countries do have less gun deaths but they still have more stabbing deaths per capital then our gun deaths and you truly don't have our level of freedom. You may not know many people in these countries do have guns, they are just the rich, discrimination on the average person is blatant. I have been in many countries an you do not have the living standard we do, or the ability to go from rags to riches as we do. If your government collapsed, you would be ran over by some other nation very quickly, the only survivors will be the ones who didn't depend solely on the government. I am not dangerous as you think, but if our government collapsed I would be able to take care of my family and protect them you can not say the same. If you read our founding fathers writings, arming the people was not to defend our nation from foreigners even though it does do that, but for the citizens to defend themselves from a tyrannical government.

"The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
    -Thomas Jefferson

"A free people ought to be armed."
    - George Washington

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
    - Benjamin Franklin

"I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery."
    - Thomas Jefferson

"To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them."
    - George Mason

"Americans have the right and advantage of being armed, unlike the people of other countries, whose leaders are afraid to trust them with arms."
    - James Madison
