What is the Biggest Item Destroying Our Country?

When you step back and look at it from a non-agenda look and what the Constitution says, it’s not hard to figure out why our country is in so much chaos. As I have said in the past, I am not for any political party we have because I think they are all corrupt, especially the Democrats and Republicans. So you must be wondering what the US’s biggest problem is, its responsibility. I will show what the Constitution says in choice areas and what our politicians are doing.

When you talk about responsibility, it actually has two parts it’s divided into:

1. Responsible
2. Irresponsible

We as individuals really need to read what the US Constitution says because honestly, the politicians and media are flat out lying about what our founding fathers put into motion.

Article 1 - The Legislative Branch

Section 5 - Membership, Rules, Journals, Adjournment, it states

“Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behavior, and, with the Concurrence of two-thirds, expel a Member”.

This is written into the constitution yet it is not enforced. What does our congress consider behavior, not paying taxes, drunk driving multiple times, sexual abuse, taking bribes, or what else? If this law was enforced today as it was when it was written, I can guarantee we wouldn’t have 95% of our congress in office today. Our congress has inched its way from respectable behavior, to having little to no respect for our Constitution or even our founding fathers.

Section 6 – Compensation

” They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.”

So let me get this right, is bribery a felony? I’m pretty sure it is. What about treason, how is treason defined?

The Constitution of the United States, Article III, defines treason against the United States to consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid or comfort. This offence is punished with death. By the same article of the Constitution, no person shall be convicted of treason, unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

This law has not been enforced sense the 50s as was shown in the 60s with Jane Fonda. Giving aid and comfort to the enemy like letting them use our court system and giving them our citizen’s rights even though they are foreigners.

Section 8 - Powers of Congress

“The Congress shall have Power to lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States”

There is a couple of items to talk about here, first is welfare. The constitutional meaning of welfare is “Welfare-welfare n. 1. Health, happiness, or prosperity; well-being. [

The second item is where it states “shall be uniform throughout the United States”. Our congress just passed a Healthcare bill which is unconstitutional on its own merit but that isn’t what I want to talk about, it’s the fact that everyone most get it but congress is exempt. This also makes it unconstitutional but shows both parties we have do not care about the constitution.

Article 2 - The Executive Branch

Section 1 - The President

The oath of the Office of the President of the United States is "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

This is one of the biggest problems because our last four presidents didn’t do this; everything to them was about politics.

Section 3 - State of the Union, Convening Congress

He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.

You notice where it says “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States”. If you haven’t noticed our congress along with the president and Attorney General, current and past, have refused to do this, just look at immigration. If your laws are not enforced, soon you will have chaos.

Section 4 – Disqualification

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

If the constitution says the above then how can we have convicted felons serving in office? I say again the elitist in our government not following the constitution.

Article 3 - The Judicial Branch

Section 1 - Judicial Powers

The judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one Supreme Court and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish.

The Constitution specifies no details for the oath of office for the Supreme Court. Under Article 6 - Debts, Supremacy, Oaths states “The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States. I think we can ask no less from the Supreme Court.

Now let’s look at the top three amendments.

Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This is one of the most abused amendments we have in our country. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;” but religious or not, the Christians in our country are attacked on a daily bases. Nowhere does it say in the constitution to remove every religious display from sight in a public place. Nowhere in the constitution is there a separation of church and state, it says there will be no state founded religion and this was because of the Church of England involvement in all government affairs of England and our founding fathers seen the problem with this. One of the biggest threats to our country in my opinion is the ACLU. It was once for people who needed help. Now it is a political tool of people trying to socialize and destroy our country. I know if the founding fathers would never let anyone burn the American Flag and call it freedom of speech. Too many good Americans died for that flag to have people (most who have never served it, only themselves) burn it. If you are that discussed with our country, leave it.

Amendment 2 - Right to Bear Arms
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Like it or not, guns are legal. What part of “shall not be infringed” don’t you get? If you look across our nation, places with restrictive gun rights always have a much higher crime rate, why is this? No matter how bad you are, you are less likely to cause any problems if there is a higher chance a by stander or the person you are trying to rape assault or kill has a gun. Criminals only like it when they have the upper hand, or only gun because they don’t follow gun control laws.

Amendment 5 - Trial and Punishment, Compensation for Takings

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

The question begs to be asked after reading this, how can the IRS just walk in and take everything?

The Constitution and our founding fathers charged all generations to act responsible and take care of the great country they had founded. Our recent elected officials and their administrations have acted as irresponsible as anyone could, caring more for their own agendas and not what is best for the country. When I say this I am including Democrats, Republicans, Green Party, and Socialists people in this group. If we as Americans don’t start standing up for our country, these groups we leave us with no country to stand up for.
